Dante Pronio

In 2001, Dante began his career in hair with an apprenticeship at the iconic Bumble and Bumble Salon where he honed in on the art of cutting and styling. He was hand selected to lead the Bb Apprentice Training team where he redeveloped, restructured, and revamped their entire training program. Years later he worked behind the chair alongside Sally Hershberger in New York and Los Angeles. Dante is fully rounded in his skill set and knowledge of all things hair. He worked with major fashion magazines and styled hair backstage for Fashion Week season after season.

Over his 24 years of mastering the craft he has become a leading educator in the industry for razor cutting. His boutique education company: FLOORED, which develops and implements bespoke training programs has produced new talent for industry leading salons. In addition, Dante is a senior educator and curriculum developer for the industry leading PONY Edu. traveling around the country to share his expertise. Dante continues to be a force in the industry through his work in product development. This is proven in his work with product companies as he has consulted with brands such as Glossier and Harry’s. His work with Harry’s resulted in the launch of their hair line, where he played a key role in the research and development, marketing, and product launch.

These days, Dante can be found cutting and styling his clientele at Damian West in New York City and making house calls in South Florida while visiting his home in Miami Beach. When his hands are not in hair, you can find him traveling, exploring music art & culture, and inspiring young talent across the country.
